The Pursuit of Happiness – an interview with The Ink Warrior from Happier You

Hey gang. Welcome back to yet another episode of I Don’t Know How Long I’ve Been In My House. I am really tired of being at home. There’s nothing to do here except have a very one-sided conversation with my my cat. The worst part? I ate all my good snacks.

A few weeks ago, I reached out to The Ink Warrior about interviewing them for a blog post, and they happily accepted.

The Ink Warrior created Happier You, a blog that oozes creativity, positivity, and happiness. How great is that? Read on to learn a bit about TIW and their blog. 🙂

My interview with The Ink Warrior.

Rebekah Banister: How long have you been blogging?

The Ink Warrior: We recently celebrated the first birthday of Happier You ❤️. It’s been a year and 12 days to be precise. 🤓 That does sound a little crazy, but seriously, time flies! 🕒

RB: What’s your favorite thing about blogging?

TIW: The very idea of having a platform where you can share your thoughts with people around the globe is so fascinating and fantastic! And then, there’s no downside to it because the potential is infinite and there are no hard and fast rules. You can be yourself, what can be more amazing than that!?

RB: What’s the greatest book you’ve ever read?

TIW: Umm…favorites get tough lol. 😂 Apart from the great scriptures like Bhagavad Gita, which is a source of eternal wisdom for me, I am a big admirer of Sherlock Holmes! I am Sher-locked.🕵 So, yeah! 😂

RB: Who influences your writing the most?

TIW: Now…it might sound weird, but, genuinely, when I write on the blog, it’s like a letter to my own self! With the positivity I push out on the internet, I actually try to persuade myself to become happier! I am not much of a bibliophile and nor am I an avid reader, so The Who will perhaps be myself and the pieces of wisdom I receive or my humble little introspection. ✨

RB: Do you play any instruments?

TIW: How I wish I could! As of now, I do not play any instruments. I think if I will learn to do that, I’ll probably take up a flute. Maybe, in the near future, who knows. 🙂

RB: Favorite food?

TIW: All the food cooked by my mother!😃 I am a really picky eater and my food choices are very limited. I am all about the regular home cooked food – chapatis, pulses, veggies and sweet dishes. 😋 *yes I am a very boring person, please don’t hate me lol 😂*

RB: Favorite animal?

TIW: I might be partial in saying that it’s the Lion just because I’m a Leo, but seriously, I love wildlife! Koala bears, monkeys, pandas, etc.🐼🐨 They are all so adorable, and the list is endless!💚

RB: Can you recommend a good Netflix show?

TIW: Not really, I don’t use Netflix. Believe me, I am not an alien. 😂I have heard good things about Riverdale and the Sixth Sense! I liked the show Crazy Fast on YouTube and am currently watching Stage Fright. There’s the real recommendation, haha!

RB: What have you been doing to keep yourself busy during this time of social distancing?

TIW: To be honest, I didn’t keep myself busy! I had been simply resting and slowing down a bit for a while. 🙃 I think getting grip of household chores, working out a little, reading, studying new things, binge watching YouTube and blogging do enough to keep me engrossed now. 🙂

RB: If you could speak to your past self, what would you say?

TIW: I’d go to my past self and whisper into my ear: “Dear, don’t take things too personally… Let go!”😌 And shout at the top of my voice,”HUSTLE HARDER!” 😉

RB: If you could speak to your future self, what would you say?

TIW: I’d only tell my future self to believe in the power of dreams! To work hard, trust the process, appreciate the journey, remember what I stand for, and always spread happiness. 💟

RB: Favorite movie?

TIW: I haven’t really watched a lot of movies, so it’s difficult to pick out one *brainstorming mode on*. I watch the Karate Kid on loop – I think it’s pretty good! 🌼

RB: How would you describe your style?

TIW: Cozy and comfortable!💫 I am that person whose wardrobe is filled with loose, breezy clothes. I can’t stand clothes than I don’t feel comfortable in or the ones that don’t align with my persona. Fashion is all about the expression of your choices. Mine are classic, smart and dressed down casuals. 😄

RB: Favorite musician/band?

TIW: The Script is fantastic!🌟Their songs Hall of fame and Superheroes are on my favorites list. 🤩 Alan Walker’s music is amazing as well – both the vocals and instrumental music is awesome 🎤🎶

RB: Lastly, what’s your opinion on pineapple as a pizza topping?

TIW: Ha! That sounds fun. Seldom do I eat a pizza and I am too picky an eater to experiment. 🙈🍕But, for the ones who do like it, why think twice? 😉

~Thank you for having me on QTC, I’m obliged and very grateful, Rebekah!☺💛 And thank you, dear readers, for believing that I am a human and not an alien.🧡😂~
