Interview With Nabila @ HotTownCoolGirl

Hello, world! Happy weekend! πŸ€—

Today I’m going to be interviewing the lovely Nabila. She runs an extraordinary blog called Hot Town Cool Girl. πŸ˜€

Let’s begin, shall we? πŸ™‚

Bekah: How long have you been blogging?

Nabila: I’ve almost been blogging for 5 years now, which is so crazy to me! My little baby is a toddler now and ahhhh it makes me so happy. My official 5 year blogiversary is November 11th.

Bekah: How neat! Who/what inspired you to start a blog?

Nabila: One of my best friends in 3rd grade started a blog because her mom was a blogger. I thought it was so crazy cool that she had her own little website where she could post whatever she wanted. Note this way wayyyyyyy before I got any sort of social media. I begged my parents to let me start a blog, and I began a private blog called “Nabila Eve”. After a year or so, I decided I wanted a public blog and changed it to ” Hot Town Cool Girl”. Eventually after lots of time and change it’s become what it is now.

Bekah: That’s so cool! Do you have a favorite book/book series?

Nabila: No, I don’t! I love so many books I can’t choose just one or one series. One series I finished recently that I loved though was the Selection Series. Yes, yes it is super cheesy and romantic, but also freaking awesome. And I super duper wuper enjoyed reading them, so it’s ok.

Bekah: Have you ever traveled outside the U.S.?

Nabila: Yep! Three times, actually! I went to Mexico when I was around 3/4, I went to Canada when I was maybe 8/9/10 not sure, and recently, last summer, we went to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic! I’m super lucky that I’ve gotten to go to those places and it makes me super happy whenever I get to travel. πŸ™‚

Bekah: Coolness! My sister wants to visit Canada because of *cough* Shawn Mendes *cough* *cough*

Besides blogging, what else do you do for fun?

Nabila: I do theatre at school, I love singing, journalism, photography, helping with school things (I’m in both NJHS and Student Council), reading, window shopping, drinking smoothies, and many other things.

Bekah: That’s really awesome! Who are your influences?

Nabila: Like in life? That would probably me my parents, my friends, YouTubers (some of my faves include Dodie, Jessie Paege, and Superwoman), and also just the general world around me.

Bekah: Awesome sauce! Have you ever had a crush on a fictional character?

Nabila: Actually no. People are always talking about how they love this fictional character, and I don’t really get it. I have definitely fallen in love with characters before, but not at all in a romantic way. More in a way where I want to hug them and just eat Oreos or something.

Bekah: Oof I guess I’m the only one who’d be down with eating Oreos and watching YouTube with Gilbert Blythe. πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ Can you make an acronym out of your own name?

Nabila:

National

Association

Bed

Illness

Lazy

Animals

So yeah, it’s an association that helps animals who are lazy and can’t move out of bed. I guess. I don’t know haha.

Bekah: Now THAT’S an association I will support. Speaking of which, do you have a favorite animal?

Nabila: Not really, but some animals that I love include flamingoes, baby anything, owls, and peacocks.

Bekah: I’d take a baby owl any day 10/10. If the whole world were listening, what would you say?

Nabila: Love each other, and there is always a positive. Also when you’re sad, Smile. It helps.

Bekah: You heard it here first, folks. Words of wisdom brought to you by Nabila herself. πŸ˜‰

That was a blast! I hope you all enjoyed reading this as much as Nabila and I did creating it.

Not only did I interview Nabila, she also interviewed me! Be sure to head over to her blog to check it out. Don’t forget to subscribe to her blog and YouTube channel so you never miss one of her amazing posts or videos. πŸ˜‹
