Interview W/ Natalie Therese @ Taking The Cake

Helloooo wooorld! Happy Wednesday to you all! β€οΈπŸ‘©πŸ»β€πŸ’»

On this fine April day, I shall be interviewing Natalie Therese from the lovely blog, Taking The Cake.

If you haven’t checked out Natalie’s blog, I greatly suggest you do so.

Her posts never cease to inspire me, and I know they’ll do the same for you. πŸ˜€

Let’s begin, shall we? 🌻

My questions are in Large Font, and Natalie’s answers are in Default.

1. How long have you been blogging?

I’ve been blogging a little more than a year.

2. How many blogs do you have?

I have two blogs, Taking the Cake and The American Girl Spot

3. What’s your favorite color?

Aw, c’mon, you want me to choose?? Yes? Fine. Probably mint green or gold.

4. What’s your favorite animal?

Easy! Cats. I live for my furbabies! Felines are just the best-they’re the perfect combination of scary and sweet, claws and fuzz. (They’re pointy on 5 out of 6 ends, guys!)

5. What’s your favorite school subject?

I really enjoy Latin-once you start studying it, you start to realize how much of English really comes from it. It’s pretty fascinating!

6. What do you find most challenging when writing blog posts?

Honestly, I struggle the most with beginning a post-I often just start writing the bulk of my post, and then I realize I need an introduction…at which point my writing brain goes ”Nope.” I don’t like corny beginnings like ”I have a really fun post for you, now let’s jump in” nor do I like just skipping the intro. If anyone has any ideas, feel free to offer them to me!

7. Is there an OTP that you ship?

You bet! Barry and Iris West-Allen from CW’s The Flash. Oh my head, they make such a great couple! I really don’t think we needed to wait till season 4 for them to get married, haha.

8. What’s your ideal everyday outfit?

Cold-shoulder top+jeans+Converse High-tops+hair in half ponytail.

9. Do you wear glasses/contacts?

Yep, I’m astigmatic. (translation; I’m blind as a bat and everything is fuzzy without my glasses) I do want to get contacts, though, it would make dancing easier.

10. Last and most important question…

Donuts or cupcakes?

Haha, DOUGHNUTS! When you think about it, a frosted Boston cream doughnut is essentially a deep-fried cupcake-and isn’t that better that a regular cupcake?

Thank you for joining me, Natalie!

Did you enjoy this interview? Interested in collaborating with me? Have you checked out Natalie’s blog?

  1. This was so fun to read! I love Natalie’s blog. Same here with the introduction, I leave it blank until I’m done the post. πŸ˜‚ I’d love a possible interview/collab.
