be kind, kindness counts, love

Be Kind // simple ways to show kindness

“Be kind, for everyone is fighting a hard battle” -Plato

Kindness counts, and I couldn’t agree more…

That’s why I have written this post!

Today I’d like to share some simple ways that YOU can show kindness.

You’re probably thinking: “What? Kindness? Pshaw… how hard can that be?”

Actually, sometimes we all can have trouble being kind to one another. ESPECIALLY when someone is rude.

But I think we all can suck it up and deal with it because Jesus has shown even the rudest of people kindness.

Be Kind // simple ways to show kindness

1. Compliments

Just a simple “Hey, I LOVE your shoes!” will do the trick.

2. Hug often

Go share the power of HUGS! *hugs everyone*

3. Send a note

It always brightens my day when I find a Post-It Note from one of my parents in my room. 😁

4. Sharing

It’s so simple! Sharing = Kindness

5. Loving them the way they are!

This is super simple and very effective. πŸ˜‰πŸ’•

Hey! Did you enjoy this post? Would you mind sharing it so we can spread kindness to the farthest corners of the internet? It would mean so much to me, and you might even change a life!β€’ What do you do to show kindness?

  4. I tend to include the people who don’t get included, and talk to people who nobody talks to because, who likes getting left out?! This is a really nice post, Bekah! πŸ˜€

  5. I always try to make the grumpy lady or man at the supermarket checkout smile by being extra friendly. It is a challenge to me as I internally feel a bit annoyed at a perceived lack of friendliness from them. It can take a while with some but consistent consideration that their job may not be thrilling them (just like shopping doesn’t thrill me) and making an effort to be kind always leads to rewards for us both, I hope. Definitely leads to a big reward for me when they smile first on subsequent visits.
