I finally watched Rogue One: A Star Wars story, and here’s what I thought…

Vader’s back, baby! *plays imperial march dubstep remix*

Just so you know, there’s no such thing as an imperial march dubstep remix…

Hello, world! How’s it going?

My life is going pretty well if you ask me… 😀

Anyway, after mucho procrastination, I have gotten the chance to sit down and watch Rogue One: A Star Wars Story…

CAUTION: MAJOR SPOILERS ARE AHEAD, I REPEAT, MAJOR SPOILERS!!

Guys, I freaking LOVED IT!

Cassian and Jyn should STILL be alive so they can be Rey’s parents!!

ARGHH CURSE YOU LUCASFILM/DISNEY!!! 😤

Ahem…

I mean, though they’re… erm… dead, they died in the most PERFECT way…

Blasted by Darth Vaders EPIC Deathstar!

Ehh… that sounded epic-er in my brain…

Meh…

I loved the film’s whole theme. Kinda dark and aesthetic… not the nature of your average Star Wars film.

The ending was SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS.

Meaning, Vader looked as good as ever.

And I have to admit, I did NOT like CGI Grand Moff Tarkin. But hey, CGI Leia looks legit!

Honestly, my ‘ol boy Peter Cushing would probably be pretty disappointed in the recreation of his iconic character. Ah well…

I’m hoping for continued greatness in the NEXT Star Wars spinoff installment arriving in theaters May 25, 2018.

• Have you seen Rogue One?

• What’s your favorite Star Wars movie?

  1. YES I LOVE ROGUE ONE SO MUCH! I love the way it had new characters, new ideas, but it was still star warsy. Not like *cough*TheLastJedi* some of the new movies are like xD I still love The Last Jedi, I just love Rogue one more.

  2. Haha, IMPERIAL MARCH ON BAGPIPES! That’s actually a thing on youtube, believe it or not. Rogue 1 was kind of a disappointment to me in a Star Wars sense (I was not a Jyn Erso fan), but Disney movies go, it was pretty cool.
