How I began to cherish the skin-I’m-in

We all have something we wish we could change about ourselves… lol. I just said “we” three times. Why do I think that’s even funny.

Seriously. Whether it’s your weight, your height, or your shoe size, most likely there’s something you wish you could change.

But there’s something you have to remember.

God created you, and he made no mistakes.

Genesis 1:27

And God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them

Don’t you just love that scripture? I do.

It brings me so much peace.

I try to remember it when I am frustrated with my appearance. And believe me, that seems to happen a lot.

How did I begin to cherish the skin I’m in? That’s simple.

I remembered I was made in the image of God.

• What do you wish you could change about yourself?

• What scripture is most reassuring to you?
