The Last Jedi: my likes, my dislikes, and my overall feelings about Reylo.

Hello, world!

I’m so, so, SO sorry for not posting the last two days. School, shopping, and just enjoying the Christmas season have me super busy. I have also been working on my new blog design debuting on Jan 1st.

Let’s get down to business:

The Last Jedi: My likes, my dislikes, and my overall feelings about Reylo.

THIS POST CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS! IF YOU HAVEN’T SEEN IT, YOU MIGHT WANT TO TURN BACK NOW!

Or if you’re like me, just go ahead and read the spoilers. (Reading the spoilers saved me a couple of mini heart attacks)

Let us begin…

Let me just rant for a sec:

I don’t see why some people think this movie was a cheap ripoff of “The Empire Strikes Back”. That’s just stupid.

If you’re one of the people who think that, I pity your lack of brains and “Star Wars” knowledge.

Some of my favorite moments

I still have some mixed feels on the Kylo Ren and Rey fight scene. You know, the one where they fight the Praetorian Guards? That was a smidge shocking. Overall, I think I like it because Rey refused his offer to forge a new Empire thing.

Another one of my favorite moments was Finn and Captain Phasma had that AMAZING showoff. So cool!

Another unfortunate, unexpected, and unforgettable moment was when Jedi Master, Luke Skywalker died.

I really liked his sendoff. I think it was very peaceful, as it is proper.

My likes

I liked that Poe Dameron had more screen time, I liked that Vice Admiral Holdo had purple hair, I liked that Carrie Fisher’s daughter, Billie Lourd, played a pretty big role, I liked Rose Tico and her story, I liked that Kylo Ren humiliated himself when he realized he was fighting a HOLOGRAPHIC LUKE FREAKING SKYWALKER!!!

My dislikes

I didn’t like Princess Leia’s sendoff, I didn’t like that Rey’s parents are nobodies, and that’s pretty much it.

My overall feelings about Reylo

Reylo isn’t going to work. FIGHT ME INTERNET. It just isn’t.

There’s a big age difference, Rey is better alone, Rey wants to be a Jedi. She doesn’t need some emotional goth man child screwing up her training.

Conclusion: I don’t ship Reylo.

Have you seen “The Last Jedi”?

• Do you ship Reylo?
